Installation Instructions
Note: This installation uses RPMs; if your Linux system does not support RPMs, please see the alternative instructions below.
- Download the RPM file here.
- If you have a LinuxShield pre-release version installed, remove the software by typing, "rpm -e LinuxShield" If you have LinuxShield 1.0 installed, type the following to upgrade to 1.1, "rpm -U LinuxShield-1.1.0-<version>.i386.rpm" A licensed version 1.0 will be upgraded to version 1.1.
- Type the following, "rpm -i LinuxShield-1.1.0-<version>.i386.rpm" where <version> is a version number such as 108.
- On each host that runs LinuxShield, install the ePolicy Orchestrator agent, by typing, "rpm -i NWA-3.0.0-<version>.i686.rpm" where <version> is a version number such as 542LM.
