The Help Desk mission is to provide timely and effective computer and networking support to URI faculty, staff and students. Our priority is customer service. Our main goal is to resolve client issues on initial contact. When a ticket is assigned we will track the ticket until the issue is resolved. When we absolutely cannot help, we will refer the student or instructor to someone who can. When confronted with an upset or argumentative client, we will attempt to redirect their behavior in a positive and polite manner.
