Room Check Schedule

All general assignment classrooms are visited once per week by Classroom Media Assistance student workers. During these visits,
- All media equipment is checked to ascertain it is functioning correctly.
- The condition of white boards and screens is reviewed and problems reported.
- Transparency projectors are tested and defective replaced.

Installed Equipment Checklist
- Projector Screen - Must move up and down, must not be damaged.
- Smart Board - Must work with a digital video hookup (i.e. a desktop). Software must work.
- Digital Projector - Must work with a digital video hookup (i.e. a laptop). Bulb must not exceed 1,400 hrs.
- Extron System (Rack mounted in closet) - Must turn on, play VHS, DVD, and cassette tapes. Must be labeled properly.
Mobile Equipment Checklist
- Overhead Projector - Must have at least one working bulb. Must be clean, free of dust and debris.
- Digital Projector Cart - Must work with a digital video hookup, play VHS and DVD. Intake filter must be clean. Sonic alarm must be set.
