What Is Refworks?
RefWorks is a Web-based bibliography and database manager that allows you to create your own personal database. You can import references from text files or online databases and then use them when writing papers.
Using Refworks
To register and log into Refworks, use the links listed below. For Refworks tutorials and guides, please see the following,
http://www.refworks.com/tutorial/
Please note that users accessing RefWorks remotely (off-campus) will be asked for the University of Rhode Island Group Code. That code is URIREFWORKS.
Write-N-Cite
Write-N-Cite allows users to write papers in Microsoft Word and insert citations from Refworks. To download the application (available for both Macintosh and Windows), log into Refworks, then at the menubar at the top of the page, select "Tools", then "Write-N-Cite".
