The URI Freshman Orientation Technology Session is an orientation section that helps new students familiarize themselves with various technologies on campus, primarily their new ecampus and email accounts.

What do I do?
FORGOTTEN PASSWORDS - For the Orientation Tech Session, the Helpdesk is providing staff at the front of the lab to help with password issues. If you have forgotten your password, please stand up and see one of them.
Please file in as orderly as you can manage, sit at a station and repress all urges to access
for the duration of the session. If you find that you are unable suppress this urge for the 20 minutes that the session will take, you may have a problem and should seek medical attention.
Step 1: ecampus
This directs to http://www.uri.edu/ecampus.
- If you have forgotten your username, click "Forgot Your User ID?" at the top-right corner.
- If you have not registered, click "First Time Users Register Here" and follow the instructions.
- If you know what your username is, then click Students on the left-hand menu, then Logon to Student administration, which is a big button in the middle of the screen.
Step 2:Webmail
This directs to https://webmail.uri.edu.
- The Network or ETAL id will be the same as your ecampus username used in the last step.
- By default, your password is set to your birth date in the format of MMDDYYYY. For example, if you were born on June 12, 1990, your password will be set to "06121990".
Step 3:URI 101 Student Survey
- Your URI ID # is the 9 digit number typed on your lanyard beneath your name.
- If you are unable to take the survey, you may need to register with a URI 101 class first. This can be done by clicking "register with URI 101"
