The URI Digital Forensics Center is a fully equipped digital forensics lab, staffed with a combination of professionals and student interns that perform digital forensics services and research and provide training.
The research being done at the URI Digital Forensics Center is currently funded by a Department of Justice grant for two separate projects concerning digital forensics. Training has been provided to local law enforcement as well as local network professionals on digital forensics best practices.
